The school was established in 2016 with fund of Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects. Since then, the school has been providing quality education for girl students enrolled in ordinary level. Especially the students’ score of STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) has been outstanding. In addition, the school has kept a good relationship with Japanese companies and educational institutions. Although the students and their parents hoped that they could continue their study for advanced level at Sakura Girls’ Secondary School, the school did not have sufficient budget for construction of a classroom block for advanced level students. Due to this situation, the Japanese government has decided to provide grand aid to construct a classroom block so the students can study for advanced level at Sakura Girls’ Secondary School. The students will be expected to contribute to the development of Tanzania especially in the field of STEM and to keep a good relationship with Japan after the graduation from the school.
