Councillors of Japan to Tanzania
An ODA Research Mission from the House of Councilors (Parliament) of Japan visited Tanzania from 9th to 12th March, 2013.
The Mission headed by Hon. Mr. Yataro TSUDA, MP, with Hon. Mr. Junzo YAMAMOTO, MP and Hon. Mr. Michihiro ISHIBASHI, MP, visited Japanese ODA sites in Arusha and Dar es Salaam.
The Mission visited Lekitatu Irrigation Area, Arusha on 9 March.
Dr. Masika, Principal of Arusha Technical College is explaining the activities of the College to the Mission with JICA Chief Representative and JICA Experts.
On 11 March, the Mission paid courtesy calls to Hon. Dr. Abdallah O. KIGODA, Minister for Industry and Trade, and Hon. Eng. Christopher CHIZA, Minister for Agriculture, Food Security & Cooperatives respectively. Two governments held productive exchanges of views on ways to deepen bilateral cooperation towards poverty reduction and economic growth for Tanzania.
